MOVIE REVIEW: THE UNHEARD

The unheard is a 2023 movie directed by Jeff brown. The movie presents a young girl, Chloe (Lachlan Watson) who lost her hearing at a younger age due to meningitis and was undergoing an experimental procedure to restore her damaged hearing which required her to go back to the old house where she grew up. Chloe eventually regained her hearing but begins to suffer from auditory hallucinations which was in some way, related to her mother’s disappearance. During the treatment, Chloe soon came to realize that her mother didn’t run away as she had imagine but she was murdered by a notorious serial killer who was also a very close family friend. 


 

Thanks to the fact that Chloe was able to regain her ability to hear, she was able to escape from the serial killer unfortunately, she lost her childhood friend who heard her scream to her check up on her.

 

 

 

The genre of the movie is; horror, thriller, and suspense. As someone who enjoy horror movies, I would love to point out how boring and unnecessarily long the movie was. Personally, I would rate the movie 4/10 but if you are a movie freak, you could still give the movie a try you might enjoy watching it.

MOVIE REVIEW: YOUR PLACE OR MINE

Hollywood is known for its continuous release of great movies over the years. From Pretty Woman to The Godfather franchise to The Fast and Furious franchise, the list is endless. Our movie focus for this week is "Your Place or Mine". Released in 2023 and directed by Alina Brosh McKenna, this movie focuses on two friends_Debbie Dunn and Peter Coleman. Both characters were played by Reese Witherspoon and Ashton Kutcher who after a passionate night shared between themselves 20 years ago decided that they were better off as friends.
